The human experience is pretty amazing. I love how we can feel excited, intimidated, eager to learn, ready to grow, and called toward something bigger all at the same time. Then it can be followed up by suddenly feeling self-doubt, fear, or imposter syndrome.
This emotional tug-of-war is one of the most beautiful parts of being human.
It gives us time to shape our inner wisdom. plus, learning to follow instead of run from the complexity of feeling our emotions is one of life’ greatest gifts.
I’m sure you can look back at some of your greatest breakthroughs and recognize that it was your willingness to stay with the discomfort, to become curious about why you were feeling what you were feeling, that gently opened your heart and help you navigate a very necessary energetic shift.
When you become a good student of your emotions, you begin to understand your patterns and why they exist. It’s this awareness that opens an entirely new level of consciousness.
I can learn from this.
I can heal this.
I can release this.
I can evolve beyond inherited and ancestral patterns.
I can deepen my wisdom.
I can align more fully with my life purpose.
My greatest growth has come from being curious about what I am or was feeling, understanding my triggers and going beneath them. Maybe it's no surprise with my Cancer moon that emotions are often the current guiding me toward deeper understanding and another Sacred Shift.
It all feels so beautifully orchestrated. Like many of you, my soul’s blueprint seems to be to experience, learn, and then share. So, if I am stagnate, if I stop learning, what is it that I am contributing to the collective wisdom?
At the end of the day, I believe we came here to experience life so deeply that our wisdom becomes a gift—not only to ourselves, but to our families, our ancestors, humanity, and the Divine itself.
So whatever you're feeling... whatever patterns keep showing up... whatever triggers still visit you... become curious instead of critical, avoidant or stagnate. Emotions are water, just as water needs flow, so do our emotions.
While your experiences are uniquely yours, the emotions beneath them are deeply human. And when everything finally clicks—when the wisdom settles into your body instead of simply living in your mind—it becomes one of the greatest gifts you can offer yourself, your loved ones, your ancestors, and the collective. Ride the waves. They're taking you somewhere sacred.
Over the years, in my own healing and while guiding others, I have noticed that many of us are unwinding similar core emotional patterns.
Some of them are
Rejection.
Abandonment.
Unworthiness.
Fear.
Longing for belonging.
Not feeling enough and…
These emotions can wear different masks, but underneath them is always an opportunity to remember who we truly are.
So instead of pushing your emotions away, try leaning into them.
Ask yourself:
Why am I feeling __________?
How is this emotion serving or protecting me?
What is my soul trying to show me through this feeling?
And finally...
What if I didn’t feel this anymore?
That last question is my favorite.
It’s often the one that reveals the deepest truth.
Let me show you what I mean.
Why am I feeling rejected?
Because I’m rejecting myself.
How is self-rejection serving me?
If I reject myself first, I beat others to it. It feels safer. (It's a fascinating survival strategy, isn't it?
What is my soul trying to tell me?
You are loved.
You are worthy.
Self-acceptance leads to personal empowerment.
You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone. The people who are meant to walk beside you will recognize you as you are.
And your soul purpose doesn’t require perfection…it simply asks you to show up authentically.
What if I no longer felt rejected?
I would feel accepted.
I would be fully authentic.
I would finally move forward.
But then another realization appeared...
If I no longer carried rejection, I would have no excuse not to fully embrace my life purpose (this is so much deeper). This is the place within each of us where we are touching on what the soul wishes for us to experience and we are meant to surrender and trust the process.
Last week I wrote about our fear of embracing our life purpose because it is something I see again and again in deeply intuitive, heart-centered people.
And, here is the next layer…
